CAMPING & CAMPER INFO
Riverside West is located on the west bank of the Neosho River and is a 168-acre park is situated in old growth bottomland providing a unique park environment for this portion of Kansas. There are 37 campsites that provide electric hookups with an additional 6 campsites located near the stilling basin with no water or electric hookups. More camping sites (electric & water) are available in Riverside East.
Free camping Friday and Saturday nights at John Redmond Reservoir's Riverside West and/or East campgrounds. Campsites are first-come, first-served assignment.
Even though the recreation.gov site notes that pets are allowed in Riverside West Campgrounds, for safety reasons, there will be NO PETS ALLOWED in Riverside West campsites during the 2009 event. If you must bring your pet, please request a Riverside East campsite.
For additional safety reasons, NO VEHICLE TRAFFIC other than shuttles, event coordinators, and emergency vehicles will be allowed in the campgrounds during the 2009 event. Campers are free to park a vehicle in the Day Parking Area and ride the shuttle to and from there.

OK KIDS COFFEY COUNTY ACTIVITIES
OK KIDS activities will be stationed throughout the Riverside West campgrounds. Shuttle service will be provided throughout the day Saturday with pick-up at the parking lot. Transportation will also be provided for the John Redmond Sportsman Shooting Range activity.
Hayrack rides, campfire fun, and a movie & popcorn are planned for evening activities and a hot breakfast Sunday morning (need not be a camper to enjoy the breakfast!).

You don't have to be a camper to enjoy the free lunch, supper, and breakfast provided courtesy of our generous Event Partners and served at the Riverside West Shelter House #6. Don't miss these great outdoor meal events!
Free lunch 11:30-12:30 pm on Saturday. Grilled hot dog, chips, and snack cake courtesy of Coffey Health System.
Free supper 5:30-7:00 pm on Saturday. BBQ supper courtesy of the Coffey County Sheriff's Office.
Burlington Tax sponsors the "Dessert Cook-off" Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops compete for the "Dutch Oven Traveling Trophy" and OK Kids goers get the dessert sponsored by Burlington Tax.
Free breakfast 8:00-9:30 am on Sunday. Coffey County Fire District #1 serves it up hot with pancakes, sausage patties, biscuits and sausage gravy, orange juice and coffee.

YOUTH CHURCH SERVICE
There will be a non-denominational youth church service on Sunday at the Riverside West Shelter House #6 (following Sunday's breakfast).
