The Burlington Police Department wants you to make sure you understand how important it is to be safe when traveling to and from the great outdoors or any where in a vehicle and the Kansas Highway Patrol has a "convincing" way to get that point across.
Hosted by the Kansas Highway Patrol, the Seat Belt Convincer demonstrates the importance of wearing seat belts. You can experience the actual force generated during a low-speed, 5 mph, collision and the value of the restraint provided by the seat belt.
