Participation is limited to Boy Scout & Girl Scout Troops
Calling all Scouts! Your troop is invited to compete in the 2009 Dessert Cook-off. This competition will be back by popular demand at the 2009 OK Kids-Coffey County event.
Each competing team will:
• Receive $25 toward the cost of supplies.
• Need to prepare three desserts of your choosing to be cooked that day.
• Submitt ONE of the three desserts for a blind judging.
Judging will be based on taste, appearance, and doneness. After the competition, all of your prepared desserts will be served with the dinner Saturday evening which you are invited to participate in.
The winning team will receive:
• An item or items (last year's prize was a new dutch oven) for their troop.
• The "Dutch Oven Traveling Trophy" with the winning troop's name and year on it. The trophy must be returned for the following year's competition.
• Bragging rights for one year!
Please plan on competing in this unique event and bring your best outdoor dessert recipe!
