Start off the weekend with a fun and challenging activity! Catch and Release Fishing Derby at New Strawn City Lake. A short fishing clinic is held prior to the start of the fishing derby.
Age Groups: 3 and younger, 4-5 years old, 6-7 years old, 8-10 years old, 11-12 years old, and 13 years and older. Trophies awarded if 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each age group.
Kids under 9 years of age are required to have a responsible adult in attendance.
Please bring your own fishing pole and tackle. Worms provided by Coffey County Sheriff's Office.
Transportation is not provided for this off-site event.
